I.. uhm.. Don't Even Know Where To Go With This One

Share
So I was just innocently looking up apple recipes on the internet, and this one cought my eye. Dear god, how I wish there were a photo:

APPLE CINNAMON COOKIE DOUGH

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 cup white school glue (optional)

Directions:

  1. Add the cinnamon to the applesauce until you get a clay-like consistency.
  2. You may add glue for added thickness.
  3. Once the dough is mixed, create shapes with your hands or roll the dough out and use cookie cutters.
  4. Add glitter for fun!
  5. Let the dough dry.

PLEASE, dear readers, DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME. Or if you do, I heartily suggest you opt-out of the glue and glitter. Or at least the glue. Shitting glitter could be fun on the weekends.

Seriously, though, these sound like horrible cookies.

  1. The ingredients... I'm fine with the latter. Ground cinnamon just sounds shitty and the glue, haaaaha.

  2. I know it's no fun to be a spoiler, but it's a recipe to make Christmas tree ornaments. I remember making them in kindergarden.

  3. If they had just said "play" dough instead of "cookie" dough. EEEWWW!

  4. Yeah, this is a recipe to make ornaments. I made them a couple of years ago and they smell awesome! They should update the name, though!

  5. Glue on a nice steak for added thickness?
    Glue, it's what's for dinner...

  6. Did they mean "play dough" and changed it to "cookie dough" to be horrible and cruel? Regardless, it doesn’t sound like this would make very good play dough anyway.

  7. I think they mean you can make a dough to be cut with cookie cutter shapes so they LOOK like cookies but get hung on the tree. Or elsewhere.

I made a variation of this a few years back..."Spice Oraments"...and I had to tell everyone who got one NOT to eat them. You really have to make some things quite obvious sometimes...!
